ABOUT THIS PROJECT
It's The Breakfast Club meets Poltergeist when two students break into Baldwin High School to steal a Chemistry test, only to enrage the spirit of a killer Principal. Tonight, Chemistry will be held in hell.
Ghoul School, a short film going into production in mid-February, needs your help.
We're doing this very much in the style of our favorite 80's films, which means we won't be using any substantial computer generated effects. Ghoul School will be built one fog machine at a time. It's a very costly endeavor to make a film like this, and we need a terrifying amount of financial support for stuff like KC/STL equipment rentals, intricate prop construction, and the feeding all of these volunteers.
Ghoul School was written by best friends Brook Linder and Gregory S. Shultz, and it's a true story about true friendship - especially the part where the construction worker gets BROKEN IN HALF BY A MOP BUCKET.
Maybe we embellished a little.
Bryan Manning and Clay Mason, the duo responsible for the short film Apollo, will be tag teaming Director of Photography and Camera Operation along with Alex Crowder, who can do just about anything.
