Making my luvvly jubbly February coat cozier.
When I found this thrifty coat I was so excited because it had a JC Penney label for you to write your name and phone number on. It had no name on it so I quickly entered mine! Wicked!
It has an empire waist and quarter length sleeves.
I adore everything about this smashing coat short of it not being as warm as it needs to be during February in Missouri!
I ended up cutting the neckline and sleeves off of a thrifty hand knit red wool cardigan sweater. I tacked them on the coat so they could be easily removed in the spring when the added warmth is not needed. It was a 15 minute easy peasy alteration. Luvvly jubbly.
